Earlier this summer, The Fort Worth Club was honored to host the DFW Chapter of NACE (National Association for Catering and Events) for their monthly dinner and meeting. The event actually started in the afternoon with a “Marketing and Munchies” class in the Sunset Room, followed by some mingling in the Trinity, before finally moving in to the Terrace for a wonderful cocktail hour of networking and nibbles. The cocktail hour was followed by a delightful four-course plated meal and an educational seminar on the powers of social media.
We really enjoyed working with the DFW NACE Board to plan an informative and enjoyable experience, while also providing us a chance to show off Fort Worth to industry friends from around the metroplex! The opening educational seminar, called “Marketing and Munchies” was a great success. It was a brief crash course on email marketing and how to use it in your business. Led and organized by Don Mamone and Angela Dupont, it was an added bonus for people travelling from Dallas. They were able to really maximize their time here in Fort Worth by attending an additional seminar before the dinner meeting.

The dinner began with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the Terrace. A gorgeous Antipasto Display was available to much on, as well as several tray passed appetizers and a bar.
After Cocktail hour, guests moved into the Horizon for a plated dinner and presentation. The menu included Crab Stuffed King Salmon, Hearts of Romaine Caesar Salad, Medallion of Beef Tenderloin, and a sampling of mini desserts on display.
We were lucky to have been chosen by the DFW NACE Board to host this incredible event, but we could not have done it alone. The following vendors went above and beyond to make sure that not only did the Club look great, but that we showed off the best businesses in Fort Worth!
