We love a good themed party! When used correctly, a theme can be classy, elegant, and can help create unity throughout the various facets of the event. Extreme and obvious themes are often used for fundraisers and social events, but Shelby and Blake were able to use a subtle Gatsby theme to create a gorgeous, elegant 1920’s styled wedding reception.

Our Wedding and Special Event Showcase is all about showing our brides and clients what can be done in our space with added floral, decor, and lighting to really make their event uniquely theirs. Some events have a lot of money to spend on these items, and some have a more conservative budget. Our goal is to present ideas and displays that fit every budget, taste, and style.
Kelly Norvell of Bridal Blooms Fort Worth took this idea to a new level by actually creating a trio of tablescapes in a range of budgets. She showed examples of what can be done at three different price levels, while proving that you don’t need to spend a ton of money to have an elegant table setting. Abbie Oswalt of Abbie O Events created a gorgeous tablescape for our Showcase. The colors and style really brought the Trinity room to life and made a grand impression on our guests.

Dallas/Fort Worth Monthly NACE Meeting

Earlier this summer, The Fort Worth Club was honored to host the DFW Chapter of NACE (National Association for Catering and Events) for their monthly dinner and meeting. The event actually started in the afternoon with a “Marketing and Munchies” class in the Sunset Room, followed by some mingling in the Trinity, before finally moving in to the Terrace for a wonderful cocktail hour of networking and nibbles. The cocktail hour was followed by a delightful four-course plated meal and an educational seminar on the powers of social media.
We really enjoyed working with the DFW NACE Board to plan an informative and enjoyable experience, while also providing us a chance to show off Fort Worth to industry friends from around the metroplex! Erin and Chris’ reception was here at the Fort Worth Club on Saturday, March 17. While they worked in a few nods to Saint Patrick’s Day, they kept the overall look very clean, classy, and unbelievably gorgeous!
