When a talented planner and an amazing rental company team up to create a tablescape, something magical happens and instead of a table, you get a room within a room. Megan and Rachel, the ladies behind Gold Dust Vintage, and Lucia Bitnar of Foster Blue and Company teamed up to create an incredible lounge area in the middle of our Horizon Ballroom. Using tall hedge walls from Propmaker Event Rentals, and a white dance floor from May I Serve U, the ladies created their semi-private lounge space in the middle of the larger ballroom. Furniture and decor details were added to make the space feel intimate and defined.
We are seeing more lounge areas created at weddings and events to offer the guests intimate places to chat and catch up. This lounge was executed perfectly and provided the look and feel of an outdoor terrace while staying inside, protected from the elements! Setting the area with small vintage details from Gold Dust Vintage certainly brought the whole space together.
