Jordan and Jonathan Highlight Video

Dallas/Fort Worth Monthly NACE Meeting

Earlier this summer, The Fort Worth Club was honored to host the DFW Chapter of NACE (National Association for Catering and Events) for their monthly dinner and meeting. The event actually started in the afternoon with a “Marketing and Munchies” class in the Sunset Room, followed by some mingling in the Trinity, before finally moving in to the Terrace for a wonderful cocktail hour of networking and nibbles. The cocktail hour was followed by a delightful four-course plated meal and an educational seminar on the powers of social media.

We really enjoyed working with the DFW NACE Board to plan an informative and enjoyable experience, while also providing us a chance to show off Fort Worth to industry friends from around the metroplex! 2013 Bridal Showcase: Bellevue

The Bridal Showcase posts continue today with another featured room: The Bellevue!

The Bellevue was a collaboration between Kelly Norvell of Bridal Blooms and Bliss Bridal Salon. They created a bridesmaid luncheon with coordinating dresses on display.

2013 Bridal Showcase: Top of the Town & Annex

Welcome to another installment of the Bridal Showcase feature posts! We are highlighting one room each day to show off all the talent and design that went into each space.

Today’s featured room is the Top of the Town Ballroom and The Annex (connected to the Top of the Town). The Annex was designed by Jan Simus Events, while the Top of the Town featured a dance floor/DJ set-up and lighting by William Ryan with It’s Your Night Entertainment. Featured Wedding: Elisabeth Grado and Will Christensen

Elisabeth and Will were married on Friday, December 28th at Holy Family Catholic Church, and held their reception here at The Fort Worth Club in our Horizon Ballroom. It was a gorgeous affair that mixed our traditional holiday decor with fresh, modern design from Julie Eastman at Extraordinary Events and Design.

St. Patrick’s Day Milkshake Shooters

Here is a fun treat for a St. Patrick’s Day wedding or party: Grasshopper Milkshake Shooters!

They are so simple to make and will add a special touch of “green” to any event!

Simply mix together the following ingredients in a blender:

3/4 ounce Green Creme de Menthe

3/4 ounce White Creme de Cacao

2 cups Vanilla Ice Cream

Garnish with chocolate shavings or a sprig of mint and enjoy!
